In-Home Service

The In Home Service Program is a non-medical support service provided by supervised, trained aides to assist  frail seniors in their own homes with personal and household tasks. Individuals 60 years or older who are low-income, residents of Illinois, and are Medicaid recipient are eligible for the program. Individuals who are not Medicaid recipients may be eligible for the service as well.

Aides are required to complete 24 hours of pre-service training prior to the start date, must pass a criminal background clearance, and attend in-service quarterly training for a total of 12 hours per year.
